Frank - loved your drumming for They Might Be Giants, Stubb's venue, Austin, Texas (March 2008). You looked liked the happiest man on the stage! Do you always have that much fun playing live? I want your job.

I was watching the new PBS series "The Mysterious Human Heart" when I noticed that Michael Bacon was credited with the music on the second episode "The Spark of Life". I liked the way the episode started with a cool drummer playing some beats to illustrate the heartbeat rhythm. I saw the drummer and thought he looked familiar, and then I saw him running in the episode, and again I thought he looked really familiar. And then I took out my signed Forosoco CD and looked at the artists, and sure enough it was you playing drums and running! I thought it was cool that you were featured in the episode.
I recognized you because I worked for the sound company when you and the Bacon Brothers played at the Planet Hollywood in Houston and Dallas on March 15 and 16, 1998. I have not seen you since then, so I thought I'd say hello, and let you know that it was a pleasure working with you. Maybe we'll cross paths again some day. Take care Frank.

Yo, looks good and I don't recall seeing you play such a small kit like the one in the photo in the basement. I dig the color too ! Just got back from the road. Played Austin Tx w/War and it was one of the best gigs we did this year. Good Bar B Q too. Let us know when you'll be out this way again. We need to play

Just had to drop a note to say... My husband and I saw you play with the Bacon Brothers this past weekend at the Chatham Fair. It was excellent! I am from Long Island and my maiden name is Vilardi. It is not a common surname . . . and that there must be a bald gene in the Vilardi heritage!...Because my four brothers all are bald or close to it! Do you know if your family immigrated from Palermo or Polizzi Generosa, Sicily...?? If I don't hear from you, I will understand! Just wanted to say Great Music!! And proud to have been a Vilardi myself!

Frank, remember the gig at Jacks, in Cambridge, where Davis had to leave the stage every 5 minutes because of an intestinal virus? Or maybe the gig in Hull, when you and I wern't exactly sure what was happening?

Frank -- I'm sorry to hear the news about getting "let go" (as they say) from Donny's band. It will never be the same without you guys. I will be keeping tabs on you here on your site and hoping to catch you somewhere, sometime soon! Your talent is amazing!! Keep in touch!

Hi Frank
So upset to hear the news that you and the boys will no longer be with Donny - it really will never be the same. Chatting with you guys after the shows was all part of the concert experience for some of us.
You are truly the some of the nicest and most talented musicians I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and I hope we get a chance to meet up again some day soon?
Love

You live and learn hey! Just know that your friends will always be here for you. The only thing I can say is that things happen for a reason - you just have to get those Bacon Brothers to come and tour in the UK! At least New York is only a short plane ride away. Hope to see you soon. You just keep being true to yourself and you won't go far wrong. I told you Merthyr Tydfil was the worst town in the UK so you won't be missing anything!!!
Love and hugs as always

Hello Frank,
Sorry that the first time I visit your site is to say goodbye. For what its worth I think the way your 'leaving' Donny's band was handled atrociously, and I hope you know that a fair good few of us dont believe the hype that surrounded it. Good luck with all you choose do - I'm sure you'll be a great success,
All the best,
Trish (Liverpool, UK)
